Dear MacDougall Meadows customers,
Thank you for supporting a small local farm.

We just wanted to tell you what Daddy (oops, we mean Farmer Jake) has been doing. The hoop house and market garden are full of wonderful produce such as tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, kale, cauliflower, chard, snap peas, eggplant, bok choi and tatsoi etc. What we have not already eaten by Friday (!) Daddy and Gran (Sandra) take to the markets in Halifax.
Foster Macdougall
Daddy wanted us to tell you that he will have beef from Nora’s cows (see picture) and lamb from Foster’s sheep later this year. So please keep following MacDougall Meadows.

As two farm kids we think it is also time to talk turkey. The turkeys are growing and have just been moved onto fresh grass. Get your order in soon (https://macdougallmeadows.com/order-form/), because the two of us can only eat so much turkey by ourselves!

A special thanks to the people who help daddy on the farm –
Kim, Gran and Chokyi.
From
Foster and Nora MacDougall

P.S. Foster told me that actually they are all bull calves (not cows). Well, he should know!
Signed
Nora
